Landmarks, Updates, and Excitement

I love birthdays.

I feel like they are so important, as they are landmark's in the people's lives. I make no qualms about celebrating not only my birthday, but also my birthday week, and when I'm lucky, my birthday month! I love any excuse to celebrate, and I think landmarks, even little ones, are a big deal. So this morning, I am celebrating a big landmark! A couple days ago, I hit over 10,000 hits on my blog! I can't even believe it. I only started keeping track a couple of months ago, and I am blown away by your support and encouragement. I think it is amazingly cool!

(PS... do they REALLY make these???)

I am also excited to announce that I am still working on branding and getting things up and going, but one of the things I have recently updated, is the "About me" portion of my blog. You can get there by clicking that tab above, or by clicking HERE. I had fun putting it together with random facts about me as well as the beautiful pictures that Jasmine Star took of me about a year ago, and the ones that White Haute Photography took just recently. I even added a couple pictures of my own :)

As for the excitement part of this blog... I am so excited for a couple of things... first, the group shoot on October 3rd. If you are signed up for that, you'll be getting an email soon! But I'm also very excited to be second shooting with a couple of awesome photographers in the near future. I have been doing some weddings, and I love them. But the more I do, the more I want to second shoot even more. So if you are a photographer, and you need a second shooter, please shoot me an email and I'd love to support you! I love to second shoot and try new things and learn from people who think differently than I do! (Speaking of which, check out Jasmine's latest blog about second shooting!)

I'm off to a super fun fashion/hair/make-up shoot this afternoon for something really exciting! A preview and more details coming soon :)
