Outside the weather is cloudy and the rain is falling...
But it's a stormy day in my heart as well, as I lost a friend early this morning.
I grieve for her family and friends, and for the empty spot that she once filled in our lives, but I rejoice in knowing that today, she is with Jesus.
Music has always spoken strongly to me. I find that when I am hurting, the words of certain songs bring me comfort. This song has never seemed more fitting.

Father, thank you for being a God who knows us intimately and loves us anyway. Thank you for crying when we cry and hurting when we hurt. Give Diandra and the friends and family what they need right now, whether that be comfort, joy, or a time to grieve. Give them these things and make yourself known to them so they can feel whole in Your presence.
