Especially the really thick fashion magazines that are mostly advertisements.
I love pouring over each photo and checking out the style and focus, and posing that is involved.
I'm also a very big fan of "America's Next Top Model" (and a new season starts tonight with short girls Whoooo!). I love all the fancy hair and make up and styling that goes into each shoot... I love the concepts and thinking outside the box.
But I am a lifestyle photographer... so I don't often get to shoot editorial type shoots, though I try to make every shoot a little fashion-y. So when I was approached with this concept, I was STOKED! Seriously, like beyond words excited! I am hoping to share more about this project in the future, but for now I can at least share some pics! There were several models and several looks and behind the scenes, and 6 hours, so it will be spread throughout several posts.
The first is Lisa Hunter. Gorgeous. Seriously. I couldn't take a bad picture of this girl! Here is her first look. Who does she remind you of? I had several different thoughts throughout the day so I would love to know what you think!
