Love Story: Scott and Xiomara

The single biggest compliment I can possibly receive as a photographer is when one of my clients refers someone else to me. That is how I was in contact with Scott and Xio. I shot a session for Scott's brother, Ian, when he proposed to his girlfriend, Erika. So that is how this little Disneyland shoot started out.

I was excited to shoot at Disneyland because I'd never done that before. However, the weeks before Christmas seem to be a very busy time at the Happiest Place on Earth. We made do and got some great shots!

Scott and Xio met when they were both working at a camp. When she tells the story there's a little mischevious gleam in her eye as she explains that she had to talk Scott into their initial date... but from that point on, they've been not only the best of friends, but a great team. This session ended with what is becoming tradition for this family... a proposal!
