Pre-Occupied

Hi, my name is Diandra, and I am a phone-aholic.

I don't know exactly when or how it started, but I have become ADDICTED to my cell phone.
Here's the thing... a couple of years ago, my parents passed down to me an old Palm Treo 600 that they no longer used. At first, I HATED it. It was big and bulky and it did WAY too much. But I continued to use it (I know, this makes no sense, but whatever).
One day, it broke. By that point, I had become accustomed to it's largeness and happy with all of the many features it boasted. I knew I could no longer live without my beloved Treo, so I took it into the Sprint store. The wonderful thing about Sprint is insurance. I got an upgrade! I happily used that Treo 650... until it broke too.
No need to fear... SPRINT was there! They quickly replaced it with a Treo 700! Which lasted for quite a while, but then it too broke.
The final Treo I had was the Treo 755 and it was instand LOVE!
It did everything the others had done, and more! AND it was more compact than ever before! I loved that phone. It went everywhere with me and allowed me to do so many things on the go. And do not even get me started on the amount of texting that it made possible. I was a texting MADMAN!

And then, it happened. Palm released the brand new, Palm Pre. And it was beautiful. And I knew I NEEDED it. Really! And luckily for me, it came out right before my birthday. Thanks to my wonderfully generous Grams, the Pre was mine.

I have decided that it is the best thing since sliced bread. Scratch that. It has less carbs!
I adore my phone. And I'm convinced it loves me too! One of the very best things about this phone is its wonderful 3 megapixel camera! That is awesome for a phone! I take pictures like they're going out of style!

So in honor of this amazing little phone, and my love for it, I have decided to add a new feature to my blog, called "Pre-Occupied". I don't know how often, but every once in a while, I'll post a photo taken with my Palm Pre about my day. Here is the very first shot!
